THE FLY FISHERMAN CLASS SCHEDULES

The Fly Fisherman host a variety of classes and other special events related to fly fishing and light tackle fishing. This page is dedicated to announcing those events. Things change quite often, so be sure to check back every time you visit. If there are any classes that you are interested in, but don't see posted, contact either The Fly Fisherman Store in Orlando or The Fly Fisherman Store in Titusville and talk to them about it.

THE FLY FISHERMAN - TITUSVILLE STORE SCHEDULE

CASTING INSTRUCTIONS - One on one casting instructions are provided by Captain John Tarr (F.F.F. Certified Casting Instructor) and Rich LeBlond. These run $50 per hour and can be scheduled by calling them.
Casting Instructions with FLIP PALLOT!! - contact John or Rich for further details on how you can receive casting instructions from Flip Pallot, of the famous Walker's Cay TV Show.
The Thursday Night Socials have ended. Instead, the Titusville Fly Fisherman will host The Mosquito Lagoon Fly Fishers. This is not your typical club; instead, it is a gathering of people that love to fly fish, tie flies, and teach others. There are no officers and there is no fee to join. The next meetings will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2008 and January 17, 2009. The meetings will start at 5pm, and will take place after normal shop hours. If you are an avid fly fisher, or just someone thinking about taking up this great activity, come join us.
Hell's Bay Boatworks Day - To help celebrate the combining of two great boat building companies (Hell's Bay and Gordon Boatworks), The Fly Fisherman Titusville will be hosting a Hell's Bay Boatworks Day. The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2009. The event will start at 10am and run throughout the day. There will be a huge boat display, several guides giving seminars, casting demonstrations, tying demonstrations, and fun for everyone. The event is free, so stop by and check out the boats and the seminars. So far, the following guides are scheduled to speak: Captain Kent Gibbens, Captain Doug Blanton, Captain John Tarr, Captain Jeremy Whaley, and others are being confirmed.
Third Annual Fly Fisherman Tournament - Sunday, January 11, 2009. It is that time again. The Fly Fisherman will host its annual fly fishing tournament, to benefit the Edgewater Pet Society. The Edgewater Pet Society is a non-profit animal rescue organization that has assisted hundreds of abandoned or lost animals in finding a loving home. We are proud to support this organization and have helped to raise money to assist them for two years. This tournament is a catch, photo and release tournament for redfish. Contact John or Rich, at the Titusville Fly Fisherman, for further details. The event registration is $25; all proceeds go to the Pet Society.
